Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Fall 2016 semester.

Approximately 2,253 students have made the Fall Semester 2016 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

University of Scranton announced more than 1,500 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2016 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence.

James Madison University is pleased to announce that the following students made the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester.

Students at Lehigh University attained Dean's List in Fall 2016. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Over 180 Ithaca College students have been inducted into the Oracle Honor Society. The Oracle Honor Society is a historic Ithaca College honor society that recognizes academic excellence. New students who achieve a GPA within the top 10 percent of students in their academic school after completing two full semesters at the college are invited to accept membership into the society.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2016-17 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

A total of 719 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's fall 2016 commencement, compared to 595 in 2015 and 590 in 2014. Two ceremonies were held in the HTC Center on campus, one on Friday, Dec. 16 and one on Saturday, Dec. 17. Speaking to Coastal Carolina University's largest class of fall semester graduation candidates, commencement speaker Susan O'Malley advised the graduates to follow their passions. "If you follow you passion, you'll find your purpose," said O'Malley, who, following her own early goals, became the first female president of a professional sports franchise at age 29 when she assumed the leadership of the NBA's Washington Bullets (now the Wizards).

The following local residents have been named to the summer 2016 Dean's List at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the summer of 2016.

At the University of Rhode Island's 130th Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22, 2016, about 3,300 undergraduate and 700 graduate students became the University's newest alumni.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average.

Students with at least a 3.50 grade point average were honored with the academic achievement.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on nearly 1,500 students during the winter and spring terms. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees since the winter 2016 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

Some 2,329 students were awarded a variety of bachelor's degrees during the University of Vermont's 215th commencement ceremonies on May 22. Approximately 502 advanced degrees were awarded by the UVM Graduate College, and 106 took the oath of Hippocrates following the awarding of their M.D. degrees at ceremonies of the UVM College of Medicine.
